Easter Island
What I know about Easter Island is that it is a small Polynesian island that contains these strange carved stones that look like men and on the West side of Chile and in the southeastern Pacific Ocean. The stone statues in Easter Island are also known as "Moai". Easter Island also has petroglyphs that were carved on rocks and Birdmen paintings in the so-called "Caves of the Men Eatresses". Easter Island is one of the world's most isolated inhabited islands. It's closest inhabited neighbour is Pitcairn Island. Easter Island is a volcanic high island. It was most populated by the Polynesians who navigated in canoes or catamarons from the Marquesas Islands which are a group of volcanic islands in French Polynesia. I don't really want to ask for additional information, because I made a presentation in Lyman Gilmore Middle School in Grass Valley about Easter Island.
